Join us this coming Saturday the 2nd for the last workday of the season. We will be taking a break until March. But, before the winter slumber, there’s still a little more that can be done.

We will be hosting our normal three activities of trail work, trash cleanup, and dog waste cleanup. For the trail work, we will be repairing portions of the lower Kinnickinnick trail leading up from Council Grounds. This portion of trail has seen water bars blown out, some rutting, and clogged drains. We plan to tackle the main culprits.

The weather is forecast to be cooler, but still very comfortable for some great outdoor park time. So, let’s get the park looking good for the winter. Use the below links to signup:

Trail Work

Trail work will check-in at the Council Grounds parking lot, trash cleanup will check-in at the Maizeland parking lot, and dog waste cleanup will check-in at the Yucca Flats parking lot.

All activities will start at 9:00 am and continue until around 1:00 pm. Please make sure to dress for the weather and activity. For trail work, this means to wear long pants, closed toed shoes, and to bring work gloves.
