Trail friends, we have a great Earth Day Weekend event planned; make that three events!
We have partnered up with Friends of Peregrine Parks and Open Spaces and Friends of Ute Valley. We have also partnered with three great breweries: Smiling Toad, Goat Patch, and Lost Friends.
So what is the event? I’m so glad you asked! It is a three days/three parks event.
On Friday April 22nd from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, the Friends Groups will be hosting a combined trail event at Blodgett Open Space repairing West Woodman Trail and closing down rogue trails. The link to signup for this event is: https://www.cervistech.com/acts/console.php…
On Saturday April 23rd from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, the Friends Groups will be hosting a combined trail event at Palmer Park completing two projects.

On Sunday April 24th from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm the Friends Groups will be hosting a combined trail event at Ute Valley Park closing down decommissioned trails near the Vindicator trailhead. The link to signup for this event is: https://www.cervistech.com/acts/console.php…
After each of the workdays, we have partnered with great sponsor hosts with Smiling Toad Brewery, Goat Patch Brewery, and Lost Friends Brewery. Each has offered to host the after work gathering for the volunteers and they have also donated one free drink to all those who came out and volunteered. We can’t thank each of these breweries enough for helping support this combined event.
So please, signup for one, two, or all three workdays and come out and help your local parks. You get to meet great people, participate in very beneficial work, and get to enjoy awesome libations afterwards.
